little details that may seem intimidating.

Choose your Space for your Party

Just like any other home party, please make sure to designate a specific area for the festivities, whether that be your kitchen or dining room table.
As long as the space is clean and clear and has plenty of room and is well lit for you and your guests to create, your craft space is as easy as that!
Other ideas- your workplace may let you use a conference room or breakroom, a church or library may offer free or low priced rooms.
*We can also provide extra tables and chairs if needed.

  • To add to the festivities, you can offer drinks and munchies for your guests to enjoy while creating your fun and special experience.

Select a Project for your Group

Now for the Fun Part! You can personalized your crafting party by choosing from a sample list
of activities. There are endless possibilities of things you can create with your friends.
Although you need to choose only one crafting theme per event, your guests will still have the ability to customize to their own style.
(unlike those painting parties where everyone has the same picture hanging in their home)
We offer a list of activities to choose from, but if you have a specific craft in mind that you do not see here, please let us know and we will see about the cost of supplies as well as time consideration to ensure that the craft you select can be completed in the time allotted for your party to allow time for socializing, snacking, and slower crafters.
Also, so guests do not go home with unfinished projects. Depending on the project, this cannot always be avoided. The average party is approximately 3 hours. If we are unable to finish, in some cases, materials can be provided to take home to complete on their own or we can schedule follow up get together for an extra cost.

Schedule your Party

We are currently scheduling on Saturdays and Sundays only.
To book your party/workshop, you will need to:

  • Please Schedule a date-at least 2 weeks planning time required.

  • Choose your group craft

  • Provide a headcount of guests

  • Make a payment.

Payment is required at the time of booking, either by the host or each guest can pay separately. Minimum 4 participants. Additional guests can be add up until the day before.
This allows me to prepare the activity and ensure I have enough supplies for everyone.

OUR STORY

Hello and Welcome!

Meet Dani and Beth.

Despite our name, Shepaintsalot, we offer experiences in many different

mediums and we are the masters of none.

Art is our Passion and our Zen.

We enjoy the diversity that our world has to offer and through arts and crafts. There are many things to explore and learn from each other and we're excited to get out and meet like-minded crafters and just fun people.

Crafting isn’t always about the end result. It is more about the thought, the time and the passion you put into creating it.

It can be twice as fun sharing that experience with the people we care about.

Tips for your Party...

 

It’s not a party without food and drink, so have snacks and beverages ready.

Finger food and small bites to eat are optimal so that they can be eaten while crafting.

Just make sure to keep the food and drink separate from the crafts to avoid any accidental spills!

 

Take lots of photos! After putting hours of effort into your masterpieces, you will want to memorialize it. Group photos and photos of individual projects are a must to remember the time you and your guests spent together.

 

Depending on your craft, things might get a little messy with materials like glue, paint, glitter, etc.

I will provide aprons, table coverings and drop cloths, but we highly suggest that you clear your crafting area of anything fragile or delicate so they are protected before your guests arrive.

Also, warn guests to make sure to wear something they wouldn't mind if they got paint on it.

In addition, set up your clean up system ahead of time.

Have lots of garbage cans, paper towels or wipes readily available for cleaning during and after crafting.

Pricing

Crafting parties start at $35 per person.

*If you have 10 or more guests, the host/hostess can craft for free.

Please Note: the cost may vary depending on the project and required materials.

Some crafts require more space and take more time...

We can work out the details prior to your event so it will go seamlessly.
